Sunday Times Profit Track 100 - we were in the 2002 and 2003 Sunday Times Profit Track 100, placed 13th and 24th respectively. Finalists in the Entrepreneur of the Year 2005-06 - 2005 started out as a busy year for nominations; the most prestigious of which was for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year, in the Masters category, culminating in a London Awards Banquet in July 2005, which has been described as the “Oscars of the business world”.
Finalists in the Asian Jewel Awards 2006 - in May 2006 we received our notification for the Southern Britain Jewel Awards; the UK’s largest grass-root celebration of Asian achievement; our category being Business and Commerce Award.
Finalists in the Coutts Family Prize for Family Business 2006 - November bought for us another nomination, the Coutts Family Prize for Family Business.
Tonight Programme with Sir Trevor MacDonald - in the first half of the year, Chemilines were approached along with the BAEPD and MHRA to feature in a Tonight Programme special concerning the growing, and concerning matter of counterfeit drugs in the market place. Supporting our industry, we managed to stave off suggestions that PI companies were the major contributing factor to this industry.
